Welcome here! It's exciting to think that in just 2 weeks I'll be boarding a plane to Thailand! I don't think it has actually hit me as life is still rather busy. Today was the first day I dove into the reality of leaving: I started cleaning up odds and ends, I looked at my books (my final exams are on the 29th) and I was blessed by having my two roomies go on a "things I need to get to survive in Thailand" shopping excursion.
*NOTE: I was forewarned to bring peanut butter in case I get sick of food there and need to eat "something normal" *(I feel like I'm up for the challenge of Thai food!!- NO peanut butter for this girl!) and we were also told to bring Imodium... this could be one interesting trip!
God moment: Today I was blessed by some lovely friends of wisdom who wanted to bless me before I head out to Thailand; not only did I have a great time talking about what was coming next for me, but I got to sit and learn as they shared pieces of their story and how they've seen God at work in their lives. I was VERY blessed! So thank you my "Wise friends"! I can't wait to share with you when I get home... and maybe have a second round of fresh zwieback?!!?
Prayer: I still have a list a mile long to finish before I leave... including 2 exams... YIKES!
