One of the greatest tools we have is our story. To be able to share with others how God has and is working in each of our lives carries the potential to impact and mobilize people in a way that facts, statistics, or relaying of information cannot. This summer I have the opportunity to be a part of MB Mission’s first Action Media Team. This team’s focus is to support and build relationships with MB Missionaries by gather stories through the use of film, photography, and written word, and spreading these stories of God’s work to the larger faith community. We will be partnering with MB missionaries in Thailand, specifically Dave and Louise Sinclair Peters. This is an exciting endeavor for myself as it is not only a passion to gather and share stories of God’s work in our lives. Another exciting part of my experience will not only be to gather stories from Dave and Louise, but to gather the stories of Action participants out in Thailand so that the stories of transformation in their lives can be shared as well. I believe that by going I will be able to provide utilize the gifts given to me, as well as bring stories of Gods work from across the globe to the larger church.
